SMBs New Office-In-A Box Option From LG-Ericsson

There is very little LG-Ericsson’s iPECS SBG-1000 can’t do—at least in terms of small business communication needs.
The SBG-1000 integrates wireless data and voice services in a single box that includes an auto attendant, licensed-activated applications, voicemail, DECT base station and WiFi antenna, in addition to data services for a file server, print server, and web server with a full security package including packet filtering, firewall, and VPN.
The phone system also supports Gigabit WAN connections and includes LAN ports with built in PoE. It comes with eight 10/100 Base-T ports—four of which are PoE—as well as a two-port analog back-up trunk, an additional analog port and six SIP trunks.
Users have the option of choosing 23 IP soft or hard phones or Wi-Fi handsets (which can be used with a single analog line), or selecting 16 DECT wireless devises. The base package for the SBG-1000 offers support for 12 SIP stations and three SIP trunks, while additional capacity is licensed activated to include up to 24 SIP stations and six SIP trunks.
The SBG-1000 became available as of September of 2011, and is sold at location across the globe. Unlike LG-Ericsson’s iPECS-50 IP PBX (which can be utilized by as many as 50 users simultaneously), the SBG-1000 does not support applications for ACD.
